Cycling Killearn was delighted to receive a Community Active Travel Accelerator grant from FEL Scotland (Forth Valley Climate Action Hub). The funding, supported by Stirling Council, aims to help communities make walking, wheeling, and cycling easier and more accessible for everyday journeys

We were awarded £970 to fund two projects; our community ebikes and a Dr Bike event, plus a contribution towards our core costs. The grant will contribute towards the cost of

servicing our 4 community ebikes and purchasing replacement parts. This will help extend their lifespan and maintain access to this valuable community resource.

Cycling Killearn partners with Recyke-a-bike, to provide Dr Bike and bike maintenance classes. In return we encourage residents to donate bikes to the charity.  The grant will help fund the room hire and refreshments at our next event.
